Dan Block earned his Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Having been an elementary school principal for San Luis Coastal Unified School District since 2007, he transitioned to the Director of Human Resources position during the summer of 2021. Prior to joining SLCUSD, he served as a teacher and elementary school principal in Lucia Mar Unified School District.
