Safe Extracurricular Program Policy
The Safe Extracurricular Program Policy defines San Luis Coastal Unified School District’s framework to ensure a safe and enriching experience for all students participating in extracurricular athletics and co-curricular activities. The District is committed to building a community and culture of health, safety, and excellence, where students can thrive in sport and in life.
Every student has the right to train, practice and compete safely, regardless of whether they are learning a basic skill or competing in events representing their school. The District remains committed to fostering a culture that actively works to prevent the opportunity for unsafe circumstances to occur. Our Safe Extracurricular Program Policy provides a blueprint to reach that foundational objective in District extracurricular activities.
