It is not always easy for parents and caregivers to figure out what children should know and be able to do by the end of each grade— and how to discuss these topics with their children and teachers. For the 2025-2026 school year, we are excited to share documents and videos that will help strengthen our partnership together. These Family Guides were crafted by SLCUSD staff to provide parents and caregivers with the information and tools they need to support their children academically in literacy, math, science, and social science. 

Our hope is that you will use this information in our Family Guides to not only support the learning journey of your child, but enhance the conversations with your child’s teachers moving forward.
