AVID is a nationally recognized college readiness program with the mission of closing the
achievement gap by preparing all students for college and success in a global society.
The NextGen Scholars is a supplemental district program, offered exclusively to AVID
students. NextGen is funded by the San Luis Coastal Education Foundation with the mision
to offer academic enhancements that remove barriers, in addition to funding career
exploration opportunities.
