C.L. Smith Elementary

Measure D modernized the current office building, along with new paint throughout the campus and a new bus turn out, front of campus landscaping and security fencing. Two new TK/Kindergarten modular classrooms were also added to the campus. 

Measure C work has commenced on the campus to modernize the rest of the classrooms. The first phase of construction was recently completed. This included modernizing all of the student multi-stall restrooms on campus, putting in another TK/Kindergarten portable classroom and completely modernizing the kindergarten classrooms. We added restrooms to the playground area and put in a shade structure. Temporary classrooms were put in at the south of campus and two new child care classrooms were replaced with new portable classrooms at the north of campus. The entire field area was also completely renovated with new sod and sprinkler systems.

The next phase of construction includes modernizing the remaining classroom buildings, MPR and kitchen area. This work is expected to begin in the spring of 2026.
