Pacheco Elementary

Measure C will begin with a complete modernization of the two main classroom buildings, a total modernization of all interiors and exteriors , as well as new HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems.   We will complete a renovation of the northern portion of the campus (bus pickup/drop off), including ADA and accessibility upgrades.  A  new campuswide fire alarm system will be installed.  In order to accommodate construction and keep school in session, we will be putting eight temporary classrooms at the southwest corner of the school site. Construction will occur in one classroom wing at a time.

• Modernization of two main classroom wings, including: new interior finishes, ceiling, casework, and lighting; HVAC replacement to add cooling; upgrade restrooms for finishes and ADA;  re-roofing with walk pads; window replacement. Possible expansion of Kindergarten and TK rooms to increase size to 1,350 square feet with possible pop-outs or outdoor covered canopies and fencing.
• Upgrade set of main restrooms in classroom wing being modernized. 
• Seismic upgrade. 
• New/upgraded TK play area, including new shade structure. 
• Replace and upgrade fire alarm system campuswide. 
• Site ADA upgrades for walks, ramps, and steps.
• Repair/replace site retaining walls.
• Interim housing portables.
