Los Ranchos Elementary

Measure C work has commenced. Current construction includes modernization of the TK/Kindergarten wing of classrooms and restrooms. Three new Kindergarten modular classrooms were recently brought in. They will be ready for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, if not sooner. These are bigger classrooms (1,350 square feet) with restrooms. Los Ranchos has been growing over the past few years and the addition of TK classes necessitated additional classroom space.

The new phase of construction will include modernizing the classroom wings, office/library building, restrooms, renovated interior quad landscaping, MPR, and kitchen area. Those plans will be submitted to the Department of State Architects and we are hopeful that construction will begin in the summer of 2026.

The final phase of construction will be the replacement of the portable classroom wing.
