Adult School
The Adult School operates on a quarterly schedule with new classes beginning in September, January, April, and June. Our mission is to provide opportunities for lifelong learning for the communities we serve by developing and implementing programs of the highest quality.
Each quarter we offer a wide variety of general interest and self-improvement programs. You may call the Adult School office at 549-1222 to be placed on the mailing list for our catalogs and visit the Adult School web page for additional information.

Student Services

Student Services assigns personnel and services to schools to enable them to meet the specialized needs of all children.

Buildings, Grounds & Transportation
We pride ourselves on anticipating problems before they affect our clients and strive to consistently keep our schools running smoothly. We are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all our facilities, daily cleaning, community use, remodeling, bus transportation, sports field preparation, communication systems and safety systems. Personnel Services
Welcome to the San Luis Coastal Unified School District web site. On behalf of the personnel department of the district we appreciate your interest in our department and our wonderful district.
We currently employ approximately 800 employees to provide services
to all departments in our school district. The majority of our employees
are teachers or other certificated staff. Additionally, we employ
about 300 support personnel who keep students safe and healthy, buildings
clean and well maintained and our offices and departments running efficiently.
We recruit employees as vacancies occur. Our primary methods of advertising
are the local papers and on our Employment
web page. Applicants are always encouraged to call our office at 805-549-1233 for additional information.
Our schools also encourage volunteers to work in the office and classrooms.

Information Services & Technology
On behalf the District and the Information Services & Technology (IS&T) department, I would like to welcome you to our district web site. IS&T works to professionally support technology district-wide by leveraging available resources within a culture of mutual respect and collaboration. We are continually seeking community members, businesses and volunteers to partner with us in providing technology resources for our students. Utilizing all of our resources, we enthusiastically support the use of technology as an integral part of the curriculum to enhance teaching & learning, problem solving, communication, collaboration, productivity and creativity.

Food Services
The Food Service Department strives to meet the nutritional needs of our students by providing nutritionally sound meals and by promoting the development of optimal eating habits.
